Mayflower Building Use

Mayflower is pleased to make its building available for meetings and gatherings of individuals, groups, and organizations, subject to availability and approval.

Please Note: Our Board of Deacons recently made significant changes to the building use policy. We encourage you to read it closely, paying particular attention to the new fee structure.

Policy on Use of Building and Property

The form to request use of the facilities is located at the bottom this page. The form must be completed by the person(s) making the request prior to use of building. After completion of the form, it be forwarded to the Board of Deacons for review . You will be notified by e-mail of the Board’s decision. If you have comments, questions, or concerns about the Building Use Policy or the Building Use Form, please contact the church office  by email: cyasunday@mayflowerucc.org, or by calling 405-842-8897 and speaking with the office manager.

Areas of the Mayflower building available for use:

  1. The Sanctuary
  2. Milligan Hall – large multiple-use room with AV equipment
  3. Parlor – furnished like a living room
  4. Seekers Room - a carpeted classroom with AV equipment
  5. Kitchen – fully equipped

The following provisions will be agreed to and followed:

  1. At no time are weapons of any type allowed on the Mayflower premises or in the Mayflower building proper.
  2. Tobacco usage (including smokeless tobacco and vaping products) within the Mayflower building is not allowed.
  3. Alcohol consumption within the Mayflower building or on its grounds is prohibited.
  4. The requested space will be inspected before and after use by the Director of Facilities. Any damage will be evaluated, repair estimates obtained, and the cost of repairs will be charged back to the sponsoring organization or individuals who requested the use of the property.
  5. Mayflower property may NOT be used for any for-profit venture. Mayflower property will not be used for any partisan political organizations or functions.
  6. Mayflower property may be used for not-for-profit fundraising events only by Mayflower-sponsored groups or organizations such as Youth Events, Choir, 363, etc.
  7. Mayflower-sponsored organizations and support groups serving the wider community are exempt from the usage fees outlined below.

  1. The General Usage fee is billed by the hour at $25 an hour with a two-hour minimum ($50) payable to Mayflower Church.
  2. If food and/or drink are served for your event, an additional cleaning fee of $100 will be charged, payable to Mayflower.
  3. If the kitchen area is to be used, an additional $75.00 fee will be required, payable to Mayflower’s Plymouth Guild. The kitchen must be left clean, with all items replaced in their proper place. This kitchen fee is in addition to the General Usage Fee.

The Mayflower Board of Deacons reserves the right to refuse any request that they feel conflicts with the church's mission. All decisions of the Board are final and not reviewable.

Building Use Form

After filling out the form click the submit button. Your application will be forwarded to the Mayflower Deacons for review. If approved your event will be added to the Mayflower Calendar and the space you’re requesting will be reserved for use. Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with Mayflower’s Building Use Policy before proceeding.
