Become a part of . . .

Oklahoma City University is looking for local persons to treat our wonderful and interesting international students to some Oklahoma hospitality.

Volunteers are matched with one of our students and agree to be a friend to them over the academic year through the following ways:

• Each month, invite your student to share a meal with you or to participate in one of your activities. This could be a meal in your home or in a restaurant, attending such events as festivals or concerts, or including them in your family celebrations.
• Each week, stay in touch with your student through a phone call, email, or card.
• Recognize the student's birthday and other important dates.
