Martha Circle
November 2007
Diane Perkins may not have won the Nobel Peace Prize for her PowerPoint presentation, but her discussion at our October Circle meeting of how to make the world a 'greener' place was a great indication of her passion for our earth's ecology. The information she provided gave each of us an idea of how we can participate in saving our planet. Keeping with the 'natural' theme of the evening, her co-host, Margaret Howard, provided centerpieces for each of the tables that were composed of interesting natural materials, such as pinecones, large acorns, and branches from various greenery.
Our November Circle meeting will be hosted by the dynamic duo of Merry Knowles and Billie Fritch. They invite you to join us on Tuesday, November 6th, at 6:30 p.m. in Milligan Hall. They will provide the dessert and beverages and attendees are asked to please bring a potluck dish to share and $1 for the collection.
Along with a delicious meal, the Circle meetings are a casual, relaxed way to get to better know the women of Mayflower Church. Any questions can be directed to Nancy Klos at 478- 8438, as well as, requests for help with carpooling (which will make Diane a happy camper).
