Harvest Home Dinner RSVP!
Thursday, November 15th, will be our annual Harvest Home dinner and our entire Church family is invited but you must make reservations. We are limited to how many people can be seated in Milligan Hall so a sign-up sheet will be available after Church services.
Harvest Home food is legendary around here and the sign-up sheets fill quickly. The meal is free but we do ask diners to bring a nonperishable food donation to be given to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
It's a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with turkey, stuffing, green beans, sweet potatoes, and a variety of desserts, including pumpkin and pecan pie. As you can imagine, serving this huge crowd requires the use of every oven and stove space in our Church kitchen. Because of this, we need to ask for the assistance of volunteers to cook turkeys and desserts at home and bring them to the Church the evening of the dinner. Sign-up sheets for these items will be in Milligan Hall, as well. Turkey cooks will be provided with the turkey, baking pan, and cooking instructions.
We are a large family, so there is a lot of preparation and clean-up. Keiko Wright is organizing her team and can use a lot of helping hands. Sign-up sheets for kitchen duty will also be available for volunteers in Milligan Hall.
Please 'be home' at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th, and enjoy the company of your Church family along with a delicious meal of Thanksgiving.
