363 News

The 363 Group will provide the meal for the church's annual meeting on November 7th as a fundraiser. We will be serving Chicken Rotel, which is a delicious meal, and one of the meals we serve our clients at Wiley Post Park. The meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. Please plan on enjoying dinner and fellowship before the meeting and supporting the 363 Group with a donation.

The 363 Group will be moving soon. We have been serving our meals every other Saturday at the Wiley Post Park party house for many years. Starting in December, we will begin serving our meals at the Homeless Alliance facility located at the NE corner of NW 3rd St. and Virginia. We believe this change of location will be a great opportunity for the 363 Group to serve the poor and homeless of our community.

Again this year, the 363 Group will be providing Christmas gifts of sweatshirts, gloves, hats and socks to our clients at our December 15th meal. To prevent receiving only one or two sizes, we will be asking the congregation to donate particular sizes and gender items, according to the beginning letter of your surname. This information will be printed on an insert in the church bulletin in the near future. Please watch for this information.

Aside from Christmas, the 363 Group is interested in receiving useable clothing donations. Please limit your donations to men's and women's pants (washable pants, such as jeans, etc.), jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, shirts, T-shirts and lightly worn shoes and boots. At this time, we have only limited needs for children's clothing because we have only a few children attending our meals. This may change when we move. We will let you know as we learn about the new location.
