Plymouth Guild is the principal women’s organization of Mayflower.  All women of the church are considered members.  We meet monthly for fellowship and refreshments, followed by a program, and a brief business meeting.

nov 14 meeting features richard jobe
The Guild's monthly meeting on Tues., Nov. 14, features Richard Jobe, music director at Mayflower, as guest speaker. Jana Hayes will give the devotional, and Jana, Maggie Hayes, and Nancy Musselman will serve as hostesses. The Plymouth Guild Benevolence Committee will also present their recommendations at the November meeting.

abridge your knowledge of the jacoby transfer nov 14
A special bridge class is offered Tues., Nov. 14, from 7-9 p.m. to learn the bidding convention of Jacoby Transfer. Cost for the class is $15. Send your registration check to Germaine Johnston, 3916 Smiling Hill Circle, Edmond, 73013. Those who took the Oct. 17 class and paid $25 for two classes at that time are already enrolled in the Nov. 14 class.

third tuesday lunch bunch gathers nov 21
The Third Tuesday Lunch Bunch gathers Tues., Nov. 21, at the church at 11 a.m. to go to a restaurant and enjoy good fellowship and fun. Contact Audrey, 751.7043 to make reservations and/or for details. 

bridge meeting nov 28
Mayflower Bridge meets the fourth Tues., Nov. 28, in the Seekers classroom at 10 a.m. Bring a sack lunch and $2. Prizes are given – and the balance goes to the Plymouth Guild Benevolence Fund. Men and women are invited to play. Call Erma Stewart at 341.6978 to put your name on the calling list. 

october meeting featured chip morgan
Mike D. “Chip” Morgan spoke to Plymouth Guild Oct. 10 on the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Oklahoma is in the forefront on new, important medical research! During the business portion of the meeting, the nominating committee presented the proposed slate of officers: Erma Stewart, president; Nancy Musselman, vice-president; Helen Johnson, secretary; and Betty Dambold, treasurer. 

fall bazaar a wonderful success
The Fall Bazaar held on Sat., Oct. 28, featured Aunt Bill's candy, home-made marmalade, casseroles, books and other treasures. The devotion and work of our members along with contributions from many Mayflower members, made the Bazaar a wonderful success. A big thank you to Billy Fritch for her organization and leadership.

ice galore and sparking water
A new ice maker and fresh, filtered water in Fellowship Hall is a gift from Plymouth Guild. Members Jeanne Garvin and Jeanne Mitschke are to be commended for their research in finding an attractive unit that meets top health standards. And an extra-special thank you goes to Don Robinson and Ron Werneke for their help with the plumbing and carpentry needed to place this appliance in its convenient space.
