May 2008 As it was April 1, or April Fools Day, our April Martha's Circle meeting was organized keeping fun and spring in mind. Nancy Klos and Hazel James hosted the meeting, decorating tables with flower centerpieces and a fun riddle at each place setting. After enjoying a potluck buffet and angel food cake with a choice of toppings, laughter filled the room, as ladies took turns telling a joke or a funny story. Everyone left with well exercised smile muscles and a new repertoire of jokes to share at the office water cooler or next family gathering. For May, hosts Debbie Rucker and Nancy Klos will hold a diaper donation "baby shower" for Infant Crisis Services. Ladies attending are asked to bring a package of diapers and a baby or childhood photo of themselves. The meeting will be on Tuesday, May 5th and starts at 630 in Milligan Hall. In addition to the diapers and photo, please bring a potluck dish to share and $1 for the collection. The hostesses provide dessert and beverages.
