Carnival Meal - The 363 Group will be providing a meal during the church carnival after church on June 1st. Please join us for a hamburger, hot dog, salad, or taco salad. Providing Food for a 363 Group Meal - The 363 group provides a meal at 11:30 am every other Saturday at the Homeless Alliance facility ( NW 3rd St and Virginia ) for the poor and homeless of our community. If you are interested in preparing a food item for one of our meals please contact Steve Newell at 946-8096, or email snewell@cox.net We have specific recipes we use for some meals and for some meals we purchase frozen entries (such as Stouffer's Lasagnas) and heat them up. You can attend our meals (which is usually a rewarding experience), or you can bring your item to the church on the morning of the meal and 363 Group personnel will deliver it to the Homeless Alliance facility. We can always use desserts too (they do not need to be home made). Clothing - The 363 Group is interested in receiving useable clothing donations. Please limit your donations to men's and women's pants (washable pants, such as jeans and sweats), jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters, T-shirts and lightly worn shoes and boots. We are not asking for children's clothing at this time. Please place your items in Milligan Hall just outside of the Seeker's Room. Meals - The meals for the month of May are on May 3rd, May 17th and May 31st. ---Steve |
