MY Flower Power

-Toni Harris, Youth Director
Along with May flowers we saw May showers, which had a little to do with us not making it to Sandy Springs Farm, that and a flat tire on the van. Not to worry, all were safe and a make-up trip was scheduled. May was also the month for graduations and we had six high-school graduates. We were given the opportunity to hear a ŌThis I believeĶ essay from most of the graduates, all of whom did an outstanding job of writing and delivering their thoughts and beliefs to the congregation. Congratulations to each and every one; we wish you lifeÕs blessings and great happiness. MY served some delectable baked delights for MotherÕs Day and managed to raise a good amount of money for our trip to Heifer International Camp. Dads werenÕt forgotten as they followed their noses to Milligan Hall for mouthwatering treats on FatherÕs Day! Summer may be heating up but we did lots of cool activities in June including The Dead Center Film Festival and Shakespeare in the Park. Ciao!
