January 2008 We ended the year with a delightful Christmas party hosted by Beth Filson and Myrna Gowman. While the food is always a highlight of each meeting, the real fun began with the Dirty Santa Gift Exchange. With the $1 limit for purchases, it was amazing to see what practical or pretty items were opened. Although the gifts didn't cost very much, a few were considered quite valuable and ownership was "transferred" several times, causing protests in fun and much laughter. This Dirty Santa Gift Exchange is the warm up for our next month's meeting -- a White Elephant Exchange that is sure to have some fun surprises. Please join us on Tuesday, January 8, at 6:30 p.m. in Milligan Hall. Our hostesses will be Vera Hefner and Brenda Daniel and they will provide the dessert and beverages. Bring a covered dish to share, $1 for the collection and a wrapped item that you just can't wait to get rid of. There are no limits as to age, condition, or unattractiveness of the item.
