363 group
Many churches work with the poor and homeless on Thanksgiving & Christmas. 363 is there the other 363 days of the year.
363 group christmas gifts
The 363 Group is once again spreading hope and cheer by giving Christmas gifts to low-income and homeless guests at Wiley Post Park on Dec. 16. They ask the congregation's help and participation in providing each of their guests with a knit hat, a pair of knit gloves, and a pie.
Please bring a knit hat and a pair of one-size-fits-all knit gloves and place them on the table in Fellowship Hall just outside the Seeker’s Room by Sun., Dec. 10. Earlier than that is certainly fine. Do not wrap the items!
Then, please bring your pie to the church any time during the day or early evening, by 7 p.m., Fri., Dec. 15. We will have 363 volunteers at the church all day to collect pies. Please bring either a fruit pie (apple, cherry, peach, etc.) or a pecan pie, heavily wrapped in aluminum foil. We need pies that don’t require refrigeration overnight. Please use a piece of tape, or tag, to identify what kind of pie you're providing. The hats, gloves and pies will be distributed during 363's meal on Sat., Dec. 16. We appreciate your support!
wanna' know more about 363 lunches and how you can help?
The 363 Group provides a lunch every other Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the party pavilion in Wiley Post Park. Some of our guests are homeless, some not, but all are in need of a good meal. We have no eligibility requirements for our guests and provide anyone attending a good meal, as well as a few personal items and clothing. We also occasionally give out towels, blankets, and backpacks. In December we will serve meals on:
- Sat., Dec. 2
- Sat., Dec. 16
- Sat., Dec. 30
Anyone interested in joining the 363 Group can sign up at the deacon’s table in Fellowship Hall.
