Christian Ed
The “Spirit of Half Full” is the spirit of creativity. The glass contains both what is visible, bottom half, and what is yet to be known, the top of the class receptive to additional content. The pages of the Bible offer many glimpses of God in reference to creativity. The writer of Genesis expresses God as the creator. The beauty of the earth, “creation”, is vaulted by the psalmists as marvelous and inspiring. One of the psalmist casts renewal as creativity in uttering, “Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord.” In the prophets we find the encouragement to increase the ability of the tent to contain those whom God is bringing to the ministry, “Lengthening the cords and strengthening the pegs.”
The word create can be understood with synonyms such as build, design, generate, fashion, and bring into being. It is a type of effort that ushers in new ideas and vision. It forms and shapes ongoing ministry efforts into fresh and exciting endeavors. Please, join the education ministry to bring about an expanded scope of education work that generates and enlarges the outreach and service opportunities, as well as the ministry accomplishments of our church body.
In our list of things to “C” in Christian Education we have a vision of being Caring and Collaborating, Creative and Celebrative. With the theme of Creating come additional opportunities in Christian Ed:

The possibilities are boundless, limited only by the juncture of will and imagination. Afavorite quote of Bobby Kennedy is, “some people see things that are and ask, ‘Why?’ I see things that never were and ask, ‘Why not?’ “
“Too often politicians pretend behind their words.” – Bob Davis
