All you will see so far is a mess! Tire tracks on the front lawn, sidewalks torn up, and the usual chaos before any new construction process begins. But we are now well on our way to creating a beautiful Columbarium at Mayflower church.::: more

363 Group on the Move
Beginning in April the 363 Group will move from the Wiley Post Park Party House to a facility provided by the Homeless Alliance. This new location is in the vicinity of N.W. 4th and Virginia and our first meal there will be on April 7. ::: more

Blood Drive
The Spring Blood Drive at Mayflower Church will be held on Sunday, April 22nd from 8:15am to 12:30pm. There is no substitute for a healthy blood supply, and many in our community have benefited from donations in the past. It, also, continues to be a compassionate way for us to support the troops. If you are able to give, please consider signing up at the church on Sundays or you may e-mail Terry Weygandt at . Mention what time slot would be best for you. ::: more

Sex Ed Classes
Sex Ed classes have gone well, with 35-45 people each night. This has been another quality event in the interfaith relationship between Mayflower, Temple B’nai, and the OKC Synagogue. ::: more

WHY SOME PEOPLE “STICK”
As of this writing, Mstislav Rostropovich is not doing very well. Having recently been released from a Moscow hospital with an undisclosed, serious ailment, he is reported to be recovering in a sanatorium outside the Russian capital. ::: more

Mayflower’s Lawn is truly Green!
Last summer, the Seven Generations Sunday school class read about the harmful affects of traditional, chemical lawn care. We thought about our personal lawns, and we thought about our church lawn. ::: more

Annual Oklahoma Association of the UCC Meeting
The annual meeting of the Oklahoma Association of the UCC will be held on Saturday, May 19, at Church of the Savior, 5600 NW 63rd. The business meeting will include votes on the possible inclusion of Cathedral of Hope and New Dimensions into the UCC, Sean Emerson's nomination as Secretary of the Association, and consideration of the budget (which includes support of the new UCC church in Norman). Youth Zoo TripThe youth will be taking a fun-filled field trip to the Oklahoma Zoo.   We will also spend a day volunteering to play with and pet the critters at Pets are People.  ::: more
