Tickets for our April 12 “Touch of Spring” luncheon and style show are selling quickly. Tickets for the luncheon are $10. This year we are continuing the tradition of a different theme for each table. The different themes are always a delight. Pat’s, Of Course will present our style show using our talented Mayflower models. Vicki Wilcox, chairman of the Spring Luncheon, has done a tremendous job of coordinating all of her committees. This is an event that no Mayflower woman will want to miss.

Mayflower bridge players (or wannabes) - and friends: Here is an opportunity to improve your bidding skills. ACBL certified instructor Germaine Johnston will offer an 8-week session May 2-June 20, Wednesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 p.m. The teaching tool will be the new, improved, revised, ACBL book Bidding in the 21st Century. A commitment fee of $60 will reserve your space. Beyond the book cost, all money goes to the Plymouth Guild Benevolence Fund and is tax-deductible. This is a great opportunity for beginners as well as those who would like a review and update. The classes are fun - and the monthly bridge sessions are a highlight of the month for the bridge players. It is a wonderful way to make friends while having fun and exercising your mind. Reserve your space by calling Germaine (341-6806) by April 18.

Our March meeting brought Joan Hess from the Oklahoma Centennial Committee. Ms. Hess presented a delightful program of slides, videos, and information to entice us to want to participate in more of the centennial programs – and certainly make us proud to be a part of this great state in this time of our history.

If you want to honor someone you love, consider dedicating one of the hymnals or Bibles to that person. Contact Debbie Van Dyk at 946-9912 to have the proper inscription placed in one of these books and to notify the person, or family, that you are honoring. The $25 cost for each dedication will go to the Plymouth Guild Benevolence Fund.
