Kodak Moments
Photographs capture moments in our lives allowing us to retain a clear picture of our memories. It's a very personal journey that takes place in our heads as we look through the photo album. But photographs are also a way for us to share our experiences and our relationships with someone who wasn't there. Who hasn't returned home eager to show friends or family those snapshots from the family reunion or the "once in a lifetime" trip and tell the stories that go along with the photos? It's the sharing that connects us and brings others into our world.
For the April Martha's Circle, hostesses Mary Taylor and Donna Black would like those attending to bring their favorite photograph to share and tell its story. It could be a childhood photo, a recent snapshot of family or friends, a scenic view, or a "candid camera" shot of someone or something that brings a smile to your face. Whatever it is, we want to see it.
So bring your photo and a covered dish for sharing. We will meet in Milligan Hall on Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:30 pm. Mary and Donna will provide beverages and the dessert. If you have any questions, please call Nancy at 478-8438.
