Join us for lunch immediately following services in the big conference room. Gab with your co-teachers, get a chair massage and spiff up your classroom for the fall. At our lunch we’ll visit, listen to your concerns and then go to classrooms and sort through dried up markers, pencil nubs, throw away, clean up, organize, decorate and generally get ready for the advent of fall when our crowds increase. We’ll work until we’re done or 2 pm, whichever comes first. You’ll rotate in and out for chair massages; everyone who wants a massage will get one! Lunch menu: Pizza, Thai cole slaw, brownies & cookies, drinks. Child care provided. Please let me know if you’re bringing children, their ages, etc. We will provide pizza & juice for the kids too!
Pick-up Fall Curriculum The fall quarter starts Sept 3. Fall curriculum will be in your classroom curriculum bins on Aug. 27. If you can’t make it that Sunday, pick up during the week. Just call the church to make sure someone is there before dropping by.	Cool classroom and hallway banners Banners depicting children of the world dancing and the word “peace” in several different languages are on their way for decorating our classrooms and hallways. Different banners will go to different rooms, depending on the ages of kids in the classrooms. Hopefully these will arrive in time for us to install them on Aug 27!
Promotion Sunday is September 10 In case you missed it, Promotion Sunday is September 10, the day eligible students will move up to the next class level!
