Cards for Ill and Shut-in Mayflower Members

We have a request from Kay Woody of Mayflower's Care Team, for hand-made Christmas cards for Mayflower's ill and shut-in members.

While the Education Department is hosting an all-ages Christmas card making event on Dec. 10 (you can read more about that here) if you would like to make cards for this good cause as a class project during the holiday season, please feel free to do so. Put finished cards in the church office in the Care Team's mail box and Kay will deliver them.

Flower Power Quarter Hour Presentation Schedule (formerly Children's Chapel)

Mar 18 | 2nd & 3rd grades | banner theme presented, distribute banner materials & instructions

April 15  | Kindergarten & First grade | reminder about banners

If you need a sub, please give us notice as soon as possible (preferably at least one week in advance) so we can plan adequately. We do understand you will need a sub from time to time due to illness, conflicts in scheduling, vacations, etc.; at the same we ask that you try to be present during your scheduled month to teach if at all possible.

To start the sub process:

  • Please email your co-teachers and me the the date(s) you need for a sub (use the teacher directory link at the top left-hand side of this page to get the info.
  • If your co-teachers cannot sub for you then I will find a sub for you.
  • If you call your co-teachers and they can’t help, please let me know ASAP.
  • If you need email addresses or phone numbers, please use the church directory or the link to the teacher directory is at the top left-hand side of this page.

If you are faced with an emergency situation, illness or otherwise, and can't give advance notice, please call my cell phone, shown below. Thank you!
