When you’re feelin’ blue think on this ...

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.

You are the ones the world has been waiting for.

Children’s Chapel Oct. 15

On October 15 we’ll hold our first Children’s Chapel of the year. I’ll put together the first program and then our classes will take turns presenting a casual, informal program.

Children’s Chapel is an opportunity for Pre-Schoolers through 4th & 5th grades to experience worship in a casual, up-close-and-personal atmosphere, and for our mid high and high school classes to help out by sitting with and helping the younger kids (who adore them of course).

We sing, pray, have a brief program, take up an offering which goes to worthy causes like 363. When Robin dismisses students from the Sanctuary, we gather in Fellowship Hall. After Children’s Chapel, students are escorted to their classes.

Seeking New Name for Children’s Chapel

Fourth grade – high school teachers, the Christian Ed board is looking for a new name for Children’s Chapel – something upbeat, fun, and lively that conveys the organic, spontaneous nature of what we do in Children’s Chapel. The board invites Sunday School’s upper classes would like to brainstorm a new name, so over the next three weeks, take five minutes of class conjure and dream a new name for Children’s Chapel, then email me your suggestions. Thanks!
