Mayflower Radio Program

Mayflower Church began broadcasting the sermons of Dr. Robin Meyers, and others who filled the pulpit in his absence, in September of 1993, on KTOK.

The half-hour program, which includes the text, sermon, and pastoral prayer, grew into one of the most listened-to religious broadcasts in the state of Oklahoma. It offered a different kind of preaching in the world of AM radio - which is dominated by conservative evangelicals. Many people have told us that they listen to the Mayflower broadcast on their way to another church, for a second-opinion to Christianity.

In August of 2000, Mayflower accepted an invitation to move to the most powerful oldies station in the country, KOMA (AM 1520), now called KOKC (AM 1520) where the sermons are now broadcast every Sunday at 9:30 in the morning.

The growth of Mayflower church began when the radio broadcasts began. Listerners are invited to learn more about the church, and may request specific sermons by calling the church office. The most recent six (6) sermons preached at Mayflower can be listened to on-line, with audio voice-streaming.

In addition, a longer list of sermons preached over the years at Mayflower (including many of Dr. Meyers' most well-known sermon "series") are listed by title and date preached. Sermon manuscripts are available by request only, and represent copyrighted material.

The best way to get the flavor of Mayflower church is to listen to the word. We invite you to do so, and to share your comments with us via email.
