Information for Persons Interested in Purchasing Rights of Inurnment.


Thank you for your interest in purchasing a Right of Inurnment in the Mayflower Columbarium Chapel of Mayflower Congregational Church. The information outlined below will tell more about the construction and use of the Columbarium.

  • The Rights of Inurnment are subject to the Rules, Policies and Regulations Related to the Columbarium approved by the Trustees of Mayflower Congregational Church. When you purchase a Right of Inurnment, you agree to abide by this document, so please read it carefully.
  • Based upon availability, you will be given the opportunity to pick the location of your niche(s), or to have your cremains inurned in the scatter garden.
  • If you want to submit an application, deliver it to the church or send it by regular mail to the church’s business office. A completed application should contain three things:
    1. Completed and signed Application to Purchase and Certificate to a Right of Inurnment.
    2. Completed and signed Individual Niche Inscription Order Form.
    3. Payment by check for the full amount of the selected inurnment, made payable to "Mayflower Congregational Church" with the notation "Columbarium."
  • When your application is approved, you will receive a copy of your Application and a Certificate of Right of Inurnment.
  • A supply of urns for cremains will be on hand at the church for an additional purchase cost. (You may select another urn, provided its measurements will allow it to fit in the niche.) Storage of the urn is your responsibility until inurnment.
  • If you have additional questions, please call or e-mail the Church office. Your inquiry will be forwarded to the Columbarium Committee for a response.
