Board of Christian Education

The Board of Christian Education shall consist of nine members, whose tenure will be so arranged that three will be elected each year for a three year term. After serving three years, a member of the board shall be ineligible for re-election to this board for one year.

The duty of the Christian Education Board is to meet monthly to promote and provide a program of Christian Educaiton for the youth of the church (infants through senior high). The Board shall recruit and train Sunday School teachers, select appropirate curriculum, sponsor activities which promote Christian education, and help to integrate the youth of the church into the total life of the congregation. A Director of Christian Education and a Youth Director may be employed on the recommendation of the Board of Christian Education, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. The Director of Christian Education and the Youth Director shall be, ex-officio, members of the Board of Christian Education.

The Board of Christian Education shall prepare an annual budget to present to the Trustees that will be sufficient to meet it yearly expenses.
